Scheduling the Recording on Vimeo
Start by creating a live event

Complete the details, and then click NEXT

The video has been scheduled, but you now need to turn the Chat functions On,

Confirm the privacy settings.

Transferring the Link to Owl Talks
Copy the link from Vimeo

Open Owl Talks to the backend and, on the left menu, locate Appearance>Menus
Then scroll down until you locate a menu item called Join the …

Having found this item, open it by clicking on the arrow on the right hand side, and some additional details will appear.

Change the details to suit the new requirements

Save the menu and the webinar is ready although the menu item is only visible to administrators at this point
Prior ot the Event
Turn on the menu link

Confirm that the link works by clicking on it

If you are already logged into Vimeo, copy the link into a different browser where you are not logged in on Vimeo and confirm that it works.
If it doesn’t go to the logged in Vimeo
Open the Live Events menu, and click on the Live Event that is not visible.

Select the Privacy Settings and make sure they are correct.
If not, adjust them to make sure it is not restricted in some way.
If they are correct, confirm that the url is the same as the one the OwlTalks is pointing to.
