Andrea Pritchard is a Social Worker with 18 years of experience in the industry of social welfare and counselling. She began her career working with families and children at Burnside, supporting young mothers with small children exploring family work and interventions. Andrea also spent 4 years teaching community welfare at TAFE. Here she indulged in her passion for teaching and fostered an avenue for students to reflect and gain knowledge in the field of social welfare. However, it has been her 13 years at STARTTS that has proven to be her most valued professional position. She has worked as a counsellor for many years, providing short to medium term counselling to newly arrived refugees from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds. For the past 6 years she has been a team leader and office manager, and is a valued clinical consultant to internal and external colleagues.
