Carlos Saavedra

Carlos Saavedar is an anthropologist, with undergraduate studies at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica (PUCP) and graduate studies at the Université de Montréal. He has worked since 1996 in various research or monitoring and evaluation projects as coordinator or research associate. He also has extensive research experience in rural and indigenous areas and with victims of political violence including internally displaced people and has been one of the key staff researchers of the Commission of Truth and Reconciliation. Carlos has also authored and co-authored books and articles based on research findings.
