Daisuke Onuki teaches about human sexuality and health/education-related issues in developing countries at Tokai University and heads a Brazil-Japan bilateral project for the education of Brazilian children in Japan. He has spent more than 15 years working in and heading international cooperation projects on the humanization of childbirth and early childhood care in Brazil as well as in other countries. Awardee of the Best Professor Award twice and the KIRARA Award (for outstanding social movement activists), he is the author of books and book chapters on Brazil’s social issues (written in Japanese).
