Dr. Nemeth has a broad-spectrum practice in the areas of clinical, medical and neuropsychology at The Neuropsychology Center of Louisiana, LLC, in Baton Rouge, LA. She is also Director of Neuropsychology at Sage Rehabilitation Hospital Outpatient Services. Dr. Nemeth is currently serving as Co-Secretary General for the World Council for Psychotherapy (WCP) and is a WCP/NGO Delegate to the United Nations. She is an American Psychological Association (APA) and WCP Fellow. Dr. Nemeth has written three book chapters, one on the history of psychotherapy in the United States, another on anger management for children, and a third on the practice of pediatric medical psychology. Dr. Nemeth and her colleagues, Kelly P. Ray, Ph.D., and Maydel M. Schexnayder, M.S., have co-authored the book, Helping Your Angry Child, New Harbinger Publications, March 2003. Additionally, Dr. Nemeth and her colleagues, Judy Kuriansky, Ph.D., and Robert Hamilton, Ph.D., have co-edited the book, Living in an Environmentally Traumatized World: Healing ourselves and our planet, 2012 by ABC-Clio (Praeger) publications. Dr. Nemeth has been nationally and internationally recognised for her WCP Hurricane Anniversary Wellness Workshops, which, in cooperation with many government, religious, and professional organisations, were offered to the victims/survivors of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in the Summer 2006.
