Dr Donna Palmer works as Data Pipeline Manager, Brain Resource International Database. She has completed her doctoral thesis on "The emotional brain: Maturation from childhood to young adulthood and application to ADHD at the School of Psychology, University of Sydney and Brain Dynamics Centre, Westmead Millennium Institute, Westmead Hospital & University of Sydney. This project focused on mapping the maturational course of healthy emotional brain function from 6 to 29 years of age, by establishing healthy norms for event-related potentials to facial emotional expressions across this age range (in a large sample of over 1,000 people). This was undertaken with a view to using this as a platform to identify emotional brain ‘markers’ in psychological disorders within this age range, and includes an example implementation of these norms in exploring emotional brain function in ADHD subtypes Publications: Gordon, E., Palmer, D.M., Cooper, N.
