Emma Boles is a Clinical Psychologist who has completed a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at Macquarie University and a Doctor of Clinical Psychology/ Master of Science at the University of Sydney. Emma has experience in both public and private settings working with adults, young people and their families, suffering from a range of mental health difficulties including mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, self-harm, eating disorders, and relationship and adjustment difficulties. Emma has worked as a counsellor/project officer at STARTTS for two years. She conducts psychological assessments and formulates therapeutic treatments and interventions for clients from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Emma works with asylum seekers to support them in managing their psychological distress and coping with uncertainty. Emma is passionate about supporting survivors of trauma on their path to recovery, and assisting clients to utilise their existing strengths and resilience to navigate the challenges they face.
