BA (Psych); Grad Dip Couns; Cert Gestalt; CMCAPA; PACFA Reg; JP Prior to counselling and psychotherapy, Gay worked in the pharmaceutical industry for more than 25 years where she developed a deep interest in mental illnesses and ways to foster psychological and spiritual wellbeing. She is an accredited telephone and personal counsellor, and training facilitator, with Lifeline. She is a registered trainer in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) and has a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training. She was a member of the CAPA NSW executive from 2006-2008and was editor of the journal The CAPA Quarterly.
