Gode Migerano

Gode Migerano is a community service professional with a long-standing commitment to supporting migrant communities in Western Sydney, particularly disadvantaged youth. He currently works with the NSW Service for Torture and Trauma Survivors, STARTTS, as a youth worker. Gode arrived in Australia as a refugee from a large camp in Kenya, having fled his native Congo. He has observed how football brought together disparate communities and peoples, uniting them in their time on the field. Drawing on his personal experiences, Gode seeks to inspire disadvantaged youth to better themselves and build community links through sport.
