Heather is a Marriage and Family Therapist, Conflict and Stress Management Consultant, and Trainer and Supervisor of Counsellors and Relationship Educators. In 2001 she was awarded a Winston Churchill Fellowship to study Marriage and Family Education Programmes in the USA and UK. She is the Clinical Coordinator for Relationships Australia (Illawarra) and has a Private Practice in Kiama as a Relationship Therapist and Supervisor. Heather has spoken at numerous National and State Conferences and is a popular guest speaker in the Community. Heather and her husband, John have been married for 29 years and they have 3 children aged 22, 20 and 17. The McAlpines come with a passion to see marriages vibrant and growing. They have been running Marriage Enrichment retreats throughout NSW for 25 years and have also led seminars and retreats in South Africa, India, and most recently Uganda.
