Hugh Baras, Ph.D. is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine. He specializes in Behavioral Medicine, Health Psychology, and Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback. Dr. Baras is Board Certified in Biofeedback and is a Senior Fellow of the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance. He has lectured and consulted with universities across the United States, in Australia and New Zealand. Dr. Baras maintains a psychotherapy practice which focuses on optimal health and wellness derived from the use of skills. His treatments include the self-regulation strategies of psychophysiology, hypnosis, relaxation, and mindfulness based cognitive and behavioral therapies.
