Jane Flentje

Jane Flentje has been the Coordinator of Teacher Education at SHine SA since 2000. Previously she has been a teacher in secondary schools and a University lecturer in Pre-service teacher training in Health and Physical Education. Jane was a part of the team that developed the SACSA Framework (South Australian Curriculum, Standards and Accountability Framework), specifically the health and physical education learning area. She has also worked in the South Pacific on HIV/AIDS and Health Education programs. Jane wrote the teacher resource 'Teach it like it is' and has now completed the second edition. 'Teach it like it is 2' is the main supporting resource for teachers in the Focus Schools program. Jane was a key member of the team that developed and implemented the share program. She continues to have significant input to the Focus Schools program that now is running in approximately 100 secondary schools in SA.
