Dr JoAnn Culbert-Koehn is a Jungian analyst in private practice with adults and children in Santa Monica, California. She is past president and former Dean of the C. G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles, where she also served as director of training and co-director of the Hilde Kirsch Children’s Center. She is a founding board member of the Frances Tustin Memorial Trust and is on the executive committee of the International Association of Analytical Psychology. She has published widely and lectures in the United States, Mexico, and Europe on issues of separation and birth trauma. In 2006, JoAnn received the Distinguished Educator Award from the International Federation for Psychoanalytic Education. JoAnn was trained in the developmental tradition of Analytical Psychology, she is an internationally popular speaker and educator who has been bridging the gap between Kleinian and Jungian ideas for over two decades.
