Dr Josephine Pryce went to James Cook University in 1998 to continue her business studies, progressing to completion of a PhD in Organisational Behaviour in 2004. Her PhD extended understanding of service predispositions and organisational culture to address the construct of occupational culture. This notion has driven her interest in the idea of ‘developing professionals’ and consideration of how to bridge the gap from learner to practitioner. Jo continues to pursue her interest in the working lives of people with the focus now shifting from people working in service industries to the quality of worklife for workers more broadly. https://research.jcu.edu.au/portfolio/josephine.pryce/
