Dr Laxmi is Assistant Professor in Department of Social Work, Pooja Bhagavat Memorial Mahajana Education Centre, Mysore, Karnataka. She also worked as State Counselling Coordinator in HIV/AIDS Intervention Programme and as consultant counsellor to Nephrology department of Vikram Hospital, Mysore. Worked with rural women through SHGs and associated with interventions focused on environment, health and hygiene, HIV/AIDS, community empowerment.
