Miranda Thorpe works as a psychodynamic and psychoanalytic psychotherapist, and supervisor in private practice at “Psychotherapy at Apollo” in Auckland. Registered with PBANZ, she is on the Admissions Committee of New Zealand Association of Psychotherapists, on the Professional Development Committee of New Zealand Institute of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, a member of the International Association of Relational Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis, and of the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Association of Australasia. Particularly interested in Attachment and Immigration issues, she was born in England, but raised and lived in numerous countries before immigrating with her large family to New Zealand 20 years ago.
