Robert King, PhD, FAPS, is a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist who has a substantial track record in research, publication, teaching and clinical practice. He is peer review editor for Psychotherapy in Australia and an associate editor for Research and Policy in Mental Health and Mental Health Services Research. His has published over 100 refereed journal articles, book chapters and books in the field of mental health practice and psychotherapy. His most recent book is A Manual of Psychosocial Rehabilitation. Robert is also very active in teaching and training. He developed the multidisciplinary postgraduate mental health program for the University of Queensland before moving to QUT to assume responsibility for Clinical Psychology training. He also provides workshops and supervision for practitioners. Robert's most intensive training has been in psychoanalytic psychotherapy but he also has some familiarity with and expertise in aspects of CBT and systemic therapy.
