Robert Monaghan

Robert Monaghan is a descendant of the Bundjalung Nation of Baryulgil on the North Coast of NSW. Robert has been in the sexual health workforce for thirteen years and of the past 9 years he has been the NSW Aboriginal Sexual Health Coordinator. In this role Robert advocates for and provides support to the Network of Aboriginal Sexual Health Workers across NSW within Area Health Services and Aboriginal Medical Services coordinating workforce development activities as well as developing training programs and workshops in line with the needs of the of Aboriginal Sexual Health Workers Network. Robert is a member of the NSW Aboriginal Sexual Health Advisory Committee (ASHAC) and is co-chair of the working group to oversee the new program to support Aboriginal people's engagement with hepatitis C treatment and care.
