Australian-born Tibetan Buddhist nun Robina Courtin travels the world teaching Buddhist psychology and philosophy and helping those in need. A former Catholic turned political activist, turned radical feminist, Robina has touched countless lives with her extraordinary energy and fiery compassion. “My main wish is to communicate with human hearts; for people to realize their marvellous potential for clarity, contentment and empathy for others.
Inner peace is supported by a continuously unfolding series of choices, aligning our sense of self with our most sustaining values. It also allows for increasing choice, and for the transformation of suffering. The gifts it brings are never for our benefit alone. As our capacity for wisdom, compassion, delight, tolerance and equanimity matures, this positively influences the world around us, and particularly those who turn to us for support or care. We can authentically meet others in their suffering and their joy when our care for them - and for ourselves - arises from the same source: an abiding love for life itself.
