This presentation will look at the lifeline of alpha theta training from birth to its current status. From the Menninger Clinic to the prevailing and varying approaches by Bill Scott, Tato Sokhadze, Genie Bodenhamer-Davis, Dan Chartier and others. Alpha theta training is a modality of neurofeedback that is indicated for people who present with such disorders as alcohol abuse, anxiety, sleep disorders and PTSD. It trains theta and alpha amplitude in the posterior regions to facilitate a very deep state, enabling the patient to access memories and deeply embedded trauma whilst is a very calm and forgiving state.
