Unconditional Love (UCL) has been widely promoted in both the professional and popular cultures as the ideal type of love in all love relationships, including sexual/romantic love. This presentation will point out the inconsistency, ambiguity and logical absurdity of the UCL concept and challenge the so called scientific evidence for UCL. It is suggested that the UCL concept brings more harm than good to the development and management of sexual/romantic love. A model of sexual/romantic love education and clinical application is proposed basing on the Conditional Love concept.
