Gods and monsters: working with dream symbols and dynamics using two-you work

You-Two Work, a simplification of Gestalt Two-Chair technique, is a way to work with aspects of the self in conflict or disowned. The focus of this workshop is learning how to work with symbols and dynamics from dreams and nightmares using this method. Gods, monsters, people, animals, houses, objects, as well as the experiences of dynamics such as flying, being chased, feeling trapped, fighting, having sex, etc. – all are grist for this mill. Using Two-You Work with dream symbols will be taught through lecturettes alternating with experiential sessions. Participants are given the opportunity to integrate theory with practice by working in dyads on their own dream symbols and dynamics under supervision and direction of the presenter. Plenty of time for debriefing, discussion and questions is provided. This workshop is designed for students and experienced practitioners of counseling and psychotherapy.
