This presentation on Managing Eating Disorders in General Practice will address the issues most affecting GPs in their approach to these patients. There is a good deal of evidence suggesting that outcomes in the treatment of eating disorders are adversely affected by delays in diagnosis, and that is an area of great concern for every GP.
In this talk you will be provided with background information that will better equip you for early recognition of eating disorders and knowledge to help you feel more confident about managing these patients in an ongoing way in the general practice setting as the hub of a team of specialised practitioners.
