Africa and her people are going through a transformation process on several levels and on different dimensions. After the wave of decolonisation and apartheid, people experienced freedom, busy with a new identity and were forced to rethink their culture and beliefs. In this regard, education, Westernisation and the period of industrial colonisation influence, sometimes forced people to an identity crisis. Some people from Africa responded with a split ego, between individualistic and collectivistic, and other with a mismatch syndrome or total resistance. Ubuntu therapy, as a healing model, based on the values of Ubuntu from Africa, wants to facilitate balance or homeostasis in individuals, families and countries. This presentation focuses on the content of Ubuntu therapy, with a relevant case study to apply it in modern Africa for peace in the mind and hearts of people.
